LOTT, William
(Winona Times - April 22, 1881)

On Thursday, March 3, 1881, at his residence 10 miles north of Winona near Duck Hill very suddenly, William Lott, aged 51 years of disease of the heart.

Mr. Lott was a member of Company A, 42nd Mississippi regiment during the late war, and will no doubt be well remembered by all of the members of the Regiment as the commisary teamster, for the writer, for over two  years. He was faithful to every trust, and since the war he has been an active, energetic citizen, and has accumulated a sufficiently of this worlds goods to impart his family in the future.
